Trading Depot Returns
When returning a product you will need a returns number, this will allow our warehouse department to expect your returned product and know who it has come from. If you e-mail returns@tradingdepot.co.uk we will send one by return. You also agree that if you do not use a returns number you will be liable to a £10 administration fee to help cover the cost of processing your returned item.
Returns Policy - Faulty Goods
We will refund the costs of the goods and the delivery charge, please contact returns@tradingdepot.co.uk and we will arrange for the goods to be collected. All returned faulty goods will be tested by the manufacturers. If proved to be faulty we will refund the costs of the item and delivery, if the product is not faulty then only the value of the goods will be refunded. In this instance you will still be charged the actual cost of delivery and collection.
Please be aware that returns of large items or pallet quantities will incur considerably higher costs than originally charged, for more information please contact returns@tradingdepot.co.uk
Returns Policy - Damaged Goods
For all small item deliveries that are delivered by carriers you agree to open all the boxes and check the goods for damages on the day of delivery. Trading Depot must be notified within 5 days of the delivery, if we are not notified within 5 days we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer because of your failure to notify us within 5 days.
For large items delivered on pallets you agree to check the goods for damage before signing the drivers’ delivery note. Writing ‘unchecked’ is still considered that the goods have been received in good condition and later claims for damages will not be considered. If the driver refuses to wait whilst you check the goods then you must refuse the delivery and contact returns@tradingdepot.co.uk. If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf you agree to advise them to check all the goods and you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if they sign on your behalf and fail to check. You indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of you or your agent accepting goods and signing a delivery.
Returns Policy - Changed your mind
If you change your mind about the product when you receive it you can return it within 7 days for a full refund excluding carriage charges. It is your responsibility to ensure that returned goods reach us in good condition. They should be well packaged. Please also note that if you write our address all over the packaging then the product is not resalable and you will not be refunded.
