The Pratley range of leading edge electrical products, ultra high performance DIY adhesives and unique mineral products serve the industrial, construction, petrochemical and consumer markets. Pratley (Pty) Ltd and its affiliate companies manufacture over 800 products and are ISO 9001:2000 accredited.

Pratley Electrical Cable Glands and Junction Boxes all carry the South African Bureau of Standards certification mark. Those variants for use in hazardous areas also comply with the stringent international IEC-standards for Ex e and Ex d explosion protected equipment (IEC standards are fast becoming the world's electrical benchmark)

Over 5 million explosion protected (Ex-certified) Pratley electrical cable terminations have been installed in hazardous areas over a period of nearly half a century without a single reported failure. Pratley Cable Glands and Junction Boxes can be found in almost all South African petrochemical plants and collieries including SASOL, CALTEX, NATREF, MOSSGAS OFFSHORE, AECI and AMCOAL collieries. Pratley products are also installed in numerous plants worldwide. In addition to cable glands, the Pratley range of electrical products includes tapes, connectors, Junction Boxes, mine light fittings, rail mounted connectors and a plethora of Ex d, Ex e, Ex n and DIP rated equipment.
